DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
The weld metal contains high Ni and Cr.
Use for welding similar alloys in wrought or cast form.
Occasionally used for welding “18-8” base metals when severe corrosion conditions exist or dissimilar metals
0.03% carbon content increases resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Embossed on each end for easy identification after use.
Suitable for the welding of dissimilar metals such as mild steel to stainless steel and High pressure piping and tubing.
