Description

875 AE12 Etch Primer is a high performance, one-component etch primer with superior anticorrosive properties.
It contains rust inhibiting pigments for corrosion protection and phosphoric acid for etching of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Suitable for application on degreased iron, aluminium, bronze, copper, galvanised steel, steel and stainless steel.
Fast-drying at ambient temperatures and is resistant to heat offering minimum “burn back” characteristics from welds.
Widely used as a holding primer for structural steel and therefore is ideal for preparation on trailers, boats, tractors, cars and metal construction.

 

Satin finish.
Exceptional durability.
Rust inhibitive pigments protect metal against corrosion.
Superior etching properties offering good adhesion when overcoated.
Made in NZ for NZ conditions.
Coverage 10-12m²/L depending on surface texture, porosity and method of application.

Apply with brush, roller, airless spray or dipping.

Recoat in 1 hour.
